Transmission maintenance G86120: Changing transmission oil

Draining transmission oil

1. Remove sheetmetal brace.
2. Place oil collection pan under the transmission.
3. Unscrew oil filler screw.
4. Unscrew oil drainage screw and drain transmission oil.

Fill in transmission oil

NOTE: Top up only with transmission oil approved by Porsche. See Parts Catalogue!

Filling capacity: 2.8 liters

1. Clean oil drainage and oil filler screw.
2. Screw in oil drain plug.

Tightening torque: 30 Nm (22 ftlb.)

3. Fill with oil up to the bottom edge of the oil filler opening.
4. Screw in oil filler screw.

Tightening torque: 30 Nm (22 ftlb.)

5. Install sheetmetal brace.

Oil filler screw (M22 x 1.5) 30 Nm (22 ftlb.)
Oil drain plug (M22 x 1.5) 30 Nm (22 ftlb.)
