Control Module Function

Control module replacement
After replacing the control module, the following operations must be carried out:
- Open the Targa sliding roof halfway and then close it fully.
- Unlock and lock the closing aid for the Targa rear window.

NOTE: The functions of opening the Targa sliding roof and unlocking the Targa rear window are locked in opposition to each other. The Targa sliding roof can only be opened when the Targa rear window is closed. The Targa rear window can only be unlocked when the Targa sliding roof is closed.

Replacing the closing aid
After replacing the closing aid, the following operations must be carried out:
- Connect PST 2 and switch on ignition.
- Select the menu item Reset and carry out the reset
- Unlock the closing aid and then lock it again

NOTE: If the battery is disconnected, the function of the sliding roof is always only influenced if a mechanical operation is carried out.
