About the views







NOTE:
- The pages below contain views of the components associated with the DME.
- Components close to the engine: the position of the components is shown from various views of the engine, making it easier to find your way around the engine compartment. Components that are actually hidden in the view are indicated or traced; hidden components can be recognized by the broken line between the item number and the component itself.
- Function-based grouping of components in the vehicle: position of certain components in the vehicle, which allow one or more diagnostic functions when used together. A number of relationships between fault memory entries and different components can be determined by presenting the components in this way.

Here, the actual view is shown on one page, while the description of the numbered component is given on the next page.

It is important to note that the numbering is not universal (e.g. different item numbers can be used to refer to the DME control module in different views).
