Tightening sequences

Note:
^ The quality of the external fastening screws must 10.9.
^ If 8.8 screws are to be installed, the screws must be replaced.
^ Tighten screws 1 to 4 (M6 18.8) to 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lbs.).
^ Tighten screws 5 to 6 (M6 18.8) to 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.).














^ Tighten screws 7 to 32 (M8 110.9) to 13 Nm (9.5 ft. lbs.).


Camshaft bearing sequence
Unscrew 26 camshaft housing fastening screws M8 x 45 contrary to the indicated order and lever camshaft housing off the cylinder head. When removing the camshaft housing, ensure that none of the sealing rings or residual sealant fall into the cylinder head.
