Removing air flow sensor - Cayenne Turbo (type M48/50)

1. Remove the front engine compartment cover.
2. Disconnect the relevant connection on the air cleaner cover. To do this, turn the pins through 180 degrees and pull them out. Then pull off the intake manifolds.







NOTE: Points 2 to 4 must only be carried out on the right hot film mass air flow sensor.

3. Remove the air line on the right air cleaner cover. To do this, unclip the green cover cap. Insert a screwdriver into the notch of the cap and lever the cap off.







4. Push the snap ring into the flange -1- and then pull it off together with the flange -2-.







5. Clip the green cover cap on again after disassembly.







6. Remove the relevant air cleaner cover. To do so, loosen the two fastening clips on the top side and remove the cover from the engine compartment in an upward direction.







7. Disconnect the electrical plug of the hot film mass air flow sensor.
8. Loosen the hose clamp on the bottom of the hot film mass air flow sensor and remove the component from the engine compartment.







9. Then undo the two fastening screws and remove the flange.
