System Specifications

Belt tensioner on bracket M8x33 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.)
Belt tensioner on timing case cover M8x100 35 Nm (26 ft. lbs.)
Tensioning roller on belt tensioner M10 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.)
Belt pulley on crankshaft M16 x 1.52 x 77 50 Nm (185 ft. lbs.), then 90° (always replace screw!)
Belt pulley to crankshaft M16 x 1.5 250 Nm (185 ft. lbs.) + 90°; replace screw
Belt pulley to crankshaft M16 x 1.5 x 2 50 Nm (185 ft. lbs.), then 90°

Tighten the remaining fastening screws to the appropriate torque in the order shown.





Note:
^ The exterior fastening screws must have a quality of 10.9.
^ If the quality is 8.8, the screws must be replaced.
^ Tighten screws 1 to 4 (M6 / 8.8) 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lbs.).
^ Tighten screws 5 to 6 (M8 / 8.8) 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.).
^ Tighten screws 7 to 32 (M8 / 10.9) 13 Nm (9.5 ft. lbs.).
^ Subsequently, check all screws again (second time round).
