Removal and Replacement



Removing And Installing Central Locking Switch

Preliminary work

Preliminary work - switch for central locking

Remove moulding for centre of dashboard. Refer to Removing and installing dashboard moulding.

Removing central locking switch







1. Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.
2. Unclip centre moulding and switch -1-. Release and pull off electric plug.
3. Hold the moulding and pull the switch downwards in a circular motion, the switch is released from the two retaining lugs -2-.







Installing central locking switch

1. Engage bottom of switch in the moulding and swivel upwards in a circle until both retaining tabs -2- latch into the switch.







2. Insert electrical plug into switch until it clicks into place.
3. Installing moulding -1- for centre of dashboard.
