S 9.7.1 Standox(R) Basecoat

Description:
- Conventional basecoat for double-layer solid, metallic and pearl-effect paint finishes

Properties:
- Optimum color accuracy
- Excellent filling properties
- Good coverage
- Suitable for spot painting

Base surfaces:
- Hardened paintwork, sanded
- Standox(R) 2K Nonstop Primer Filler
- Standox(R) 2K Universal Filler
- Standohyd(R) 1K Primer Surfacer
- Please note base surface pre-treatment instructions:
-> S 5.1
-> S 6.1
-> S 9.2.2

NOTE:
- Raw material base: Physically-drying special resin
- Flash point: 25° C/77° F
- Spec. weight: 0.93-1.06 g/cm3
- Solid content: 22.0-37.2% weight/17.7-22.0% vol.
- Theoretical yield: 7.1-8.8 m2/ltr. with a dry coat thickness of 25 microns
- In higher layers (multiple paint layers) of 40 microns or higher, mix Standox(R) Basecoat with 20% Standox(R) 2K Hardener MS 25-40 / Standox(R) 2K Hardener MS X 5-25 or 15% Standox(R) 2K Hardener HS 25-40 and set with 40% Standox(R) Thinner MSB 15-25. Allow a correspondingly longer time to dry.
- Standox(R) Basecoat can be masked after 45-60 min./20° C or after oven-drying. Hardened Standox(R) Basecoat should only be masked following oven-drying.
- Clean equipment after use with cleaning thinner

- 460-719 g/l

S 9.7.2 Standocryl(R) 2K Topcoat

Description:
- Two-component single-layer solid topcoat paint

Properties:
- Optimum color accuracy
- Excellent filling properties
- Good coverage
- Optimum gloss stability
- High yield
- High mechanical and chemical resistance

Base surfaces:
- Hardened paintwork, sanded
- Standox(R) 2K Nonstop Primer Filler
- Standox(R) 2K Universal Filler
- Please note base surface pre-treatment instructions:

NOTE:
- Raw material base: Two-component acrylic resin
- Flash point: 24-34° C/75-93° F
- Spec. weight: 0.98-1.33 g/cm3
- Solid content: 47.1-68.3% weight/40.3-51.8% vol.
- Theoretical yield: 7.3-7.6 m�/ltr. with a dry coat thickness of 50 microns
- Standocryl(R) 2K Topcoat can be used with: Standox(R) 2K Structure Additive fine MIX 602 / Standox(R) 2K Structure Additive coarse MIX 603 / Standox(R) 2K Matting Agent MIX 606 / Standox(R) 2K Plasticizer (new).
- Clean equipment after use with cleaning thinner

VOC value:
- 412-517 g/l

S 9.7.3 Standohyd(R) Basecoat

Description:
- Water-dilutable basecoat for double-layer solid, metallic and pearl-effect paint finishes

Properties:
- Optimum color accuracy
- Excellent filling properties
- Good coverage
- Suitable for spot painting
- High yield
- Organic solvent content: less than 10%

Base surfaces:
- Standox(R) 2K Nonstop Primer Filler
- Standox(R) 2K Universal Filler
- Standohyd(R) 1K Primer Surfacer
- Please note base surface pre-treatment instructions:

NOTE:
- Raw material base: Special polymers that can be diluted in water
- Flash point: 58-59° C/136-138° F
- Spec. weight: 1.01-1.21 g/cm3
- Solid content: 19.1-23.7% weight/22.5-37.3% vol.
- Theoretical yield: 10.16 m2/ltr. with a dry coat thickness of 15 microns
- The work materials must be suitable for water-dilutable products; refer to manufacturer's specifications
- Collect left-overs from water-dilutable products separately from left-overs from conventional products. Otherwise, disposal will be more difficult, may involve unnecessary extra costs and may even be impossible
- Spot painting, -> S 7 "Spot-repair procedures"
- Clean equipment before and after use with Standohyd(R) Demineralized Water
- Clean again with cleaning thinner

- 232-430 g/l

- Low-solvent, two-component, high-solid topcoat paint for single-layer solid paint finishes

Properties:
- For VOC-compliant paint finishes
- Optimum color shade accuracy
- Excellent filling properties
- Good coverage
- Optimum gloss stability
- High yield
- High mechanical and chemical resistance

Base surfaces:
- Hardened paintwork, sanded
- Standox(R) 2K Nonstop Primer Filler
- Standox(R) 2K Universal Filler
- Please note base surface pre-treatment instructions:

NOTE:
- Raw material base: Two-component acrylic resin
- Flash point: 34° C/93.2° F
- Spec. weight: 1.01-1.22 g/cm3
- Solid content: 62.8-73.0% weight/56.6-57.8% vol.
- Theoretical yield: 10.3-10.5 m2/ltr. with a dry coat thickness of 50 microns Standocryl(R) 2K HS Topcoat can be used with Standox(R) 2K Structure Additive fine MIX 602 / Standox(R) 2K Structure Additive coarse MIX 603 / Standox(R) 2K Matting Agent MIX 606 / Standox(R) 2K Plasticizer (new)
- Clean equipment after use with cleaning thinner

- 333-392 g/l
