Removing switch for reversing light

Removing switch for reversing light (5-speed transmission)












1. Release connector on switch for reversing light -Arrow a- and pull it off.
2. Unscrew the two fastening screws -1- on the holder -2-.







3. Unscrew fastening screw -1- and remove holder -2-.
4. Remove switch for reversing light from the transmission.

Removing switch for reversing light (6-speed transmission)












1. Release connector on switch for reversing light -Arrow a- and pull it off.







2. Unscrew and remove switch for reversing light.

Installing switch for reversing light

Installing switch for reversing light (5-speed transmission)







1. Replace sealing ring -1- on switch for reversing light.







2. Insert switch for reversing light in the transmission.
3. Position holder -2- and screw down with the fastening screw -1-.
Tightening torque: 19 ftlb.







4. Position holder -2- on transmission and screw down with the two fastening screws -1-.
Tightening torque: 7.5 ftlb.

5. Push connector onto switch for reversing light until it is felt to engage.
6. Check operation of switch for reversing light.

Installing switch for reversing light (6-speed transmission)







1. Install switch for reversing light.
Tightening torque: 15 ftlb.







2. Push connector onto switch for reversing light until it is felt to engage.
3. Check operation of switch for reversing light.
