1. Force crown wheel off differential housing with punch.

2) If these parts are replaced, re-adjustment is necessary.

Installation instructions for differential
1. Install differential pinions.
^ Insert the thrust washer assembly with hypoid transmission oil (Burmah-Oil TAF 21).
^ Oil the differential pinions thoroughly.
^ Insert large differential pinions and fix them with the flanged shafts (without circlip).
^ Insert the small differential pinions offset by 180° and swivel them in by turning the flanged shafts.
^ Align the thrust washer assembly and small differential pinions.
^ Insert the axle and secure with roll pin.









2. Heat up the crown wheel to approximately 100°C and position with centring pin -- (shop-made).

Subsequent work

1. Install differential.
