Removing And Installing Clutch Switch For Cruise Control

Preliminary work
1. Remove trim under instrument panel.

Removing clutch switch for cruise control







1. Release and pull off connector plug from clutch switch for cruise control.







NOTE:
- Once removed the switch must be replaced.
- This part must not be re-fitted.

2. Remove clutch switch for cruise control with an anti-clockwise twisting movement.







Installing clutch switch for cruise control

NOTE:
- Once removed the switch must be replaced.
- This part must not be re-fitted.

1. Put clutch pedal undepressed in its basic position for fitting.
2. Pull push rod fully out of new switch.







3. Insert clutch switch into mounting saddle and engage with a clockwise twisting movement as far as the stop.







4. Push on cable plug.

Subsequent work
1. Install trim under instrument panel.
