1. Pull engine cover vertically upwards and off.

Removing ignition coils
1. Separate the six ignition coils from the wiring harness. To do this, press connector gently downwards -arrow A-, release using a suitable aid (e. g. angled piece of wiring) -arrow B- and pull off -arrow C-.







2. Remove ignition coils. For securely seated ignition coils, use the special tool puller T10095 A-A- to do this.







Installing ignition coils
1. Install the plug coils. When doing so, make sure that the straight surface is pointing to the intake pipes.







2. Reconnect ignition coil. The plugs must engage audibly.
