WM 287319 Removing and installing pulse sender

Technical values





Removing pulse sender

The pulse sender is located on the transmission bell housing to the right and can be accessed on the engine from underneath.
1. Disconnect pulse sender.





Pulling off plug connection on speed sender

1.1. Pull electric plug connection -23- out of the bracket.
1.2. Press locking mechanism -a- on electric plug connection -23- and disconnect it.
1.3. Open the clip -3- and take out electric line for pulse sender.

2. Remove pulse sender.

Unscrew screw -2- and carefully pull pulse sender -1- out of the guide.

Installing pulse sender

1. Install pulse sender.

Tighten screw -2- to
=> Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.).
2. Connect pulse sender.
2.1. Insert pulse sender line into clip -3- and close the clip.

2.2. Connect electric plug connection -23-.

2.3. Press electric plug connection -23- into the bracket.
