CHECKING AND TOPPING UP TRANSMISSION OIL

Note: Fill only with oil approved by Porsche.

Preliminary work
1. Raise the vehicle at the prescribed jacking points.
2. Remove support plate.
3. Place oil collection pan under the transmission.

Checking and topping up transmission oil





1. Unscrew oil filler plug.





2. Insert angled wire hook (shop made) 00000 through the filler opening and check oil level. The oil level must be 2 to 3 mm below the filler opening, otherwise oil must be added.





3. Clean oil filler plug and screw in with a new sealing ring.

WARNING: Risk of scalding from hot oil
=> Let the oil cool down
=> Wear personal protective gear (goggles, gloves)





1. Unscrew oil filler plug.





2. Push angled wire hook (shop-made) 00000 through oil opening and check oil level. The oil level must be 11 mm below the filler opening. If it is lower add more oil.





3. Clean oil filler plug and screw in with a new sealing ring.

Subsequent work
1. Install support plate.
2. Lower the vehicle.
