Removing And Installing Relay Carrier 1

Preliminary work

Preliminary work for relay carrier 1
Remove front side section trim.

Remove trim panel under dashboard on driver's side.

Removing relay carrier 1 from the retaining frame












1. -A- Pull apart both retaining lugs on relay carrier support and press the relay carrier upward.
2. -B- Press relay carrier upward approx. 45° on the right side.







3. -C- Pull out the support lugs of the relay carrier from the support and -D- pull out the relay carrier downward.

Installing relay carrier 1

Installing relay carrier 1 in the retaining frame







1. Slide in the relay carrier from below at approx. 45° slant into the support.
2. Secure the support lugs from the relay carrier into the support and engage the relay carrier in the support.

Subsequent work

Subsequent work on relay carrier 1
Install trim under dashboard on driver's side.

Install front side section trim.
