1. Force crown wheel off differential housing with a punch.

Installation instructions for differential

1. Install differential pinions.
- Insert the thrust washer assembly with hypoid transmission oil (Burmah-Oil TAF 21).
- Oil the differential pinions thoroughly.
- Insert large differential pinions and fix them with the flanged shafts (without circlip).
- Insert the small differential pinions offset by 180° and swivel them in by turning the flanged shafts.
- Align the thrust washer assembly and small differential pinions.
- Insert the axle and secure with a roll pin.

2. Heat up the crown wheel to approx. 100 °C and position with centring pin -A- (shop-made).
