Engine Mounting



Removing and installing engine mounting (hydraulic mount) on V6 DFI engines





Preliminary work

1. Remove engine carrier.

1. Remove engine mounting (hydraulic mount).
1.1. Loosen the hexagon nut -A-.

Information:
^ The engine mounts must be aligned using the engine carrier.
^ The engine mounts differ (left/right) and must not be interchanged.

1. Install engine mounting.

1.1. The dowel pin of the engine mounting must sit correctly into the cut-out on the engine carrier.
1.2. Fit fastening screws -arrows- but do not tighten yet.
1.3. Always replace the hexagon nut and tighten to -> Tightening torque: 75 Nm (56 ftlb.). Fit the engine carrier to prevent the bearing from turning.

Subsequent work

1. Install engine carrier.
