Control unit faulty

Diagnostic conditions
- Switch on ignition more than 10 sec.
- Then engine idling more than 30 sec.
- Then engine speed more than 1,000 rpm for more than 60 sec. with vehicle stationary
- Then driving for more than 60 sec.

Possible fault causes
- DME (DFI) control unit faulty
