WM 919019 Control unit for telephone

Preliminary work

1. Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.
2. Remove the left and right cover on the centre console. -> 681419 Removing and installing centre console cover - section on "Removing" 681419 Removing and installing centre console cover
3. Remove PCM display and operator control unit. -> 911019 Removing and installing PCM 3.0 display and operator control unit - section on "Removing" Service and Repair

Removing control unit for telephone

The telephone control unit is installed in the PCM.
1. Carefully open the cover on the PCM using a screwdriver.

2. Unscrew the two fastening screws -1- for the control unit and remove the control unit.

Installing control unit for telephone

1. Fit the control unit and screw in the two fastening screws -1-.

2. Press the cover closed until it engages securely.

Subsequent work

1. Install PCM 3.0 display and operator control unit. -> 911019 Removing and installing PCM 3.0 display and operator control unit - section on "Installing" Service and Repair
2. Install the left and right cover on the centre console. -> 681419 Removing and installing centre console cover - section on "Installing" 681419 Removing and installing centre console cover
