Technical values







Preliminary work

1. Remove steering column trim.
2. Remove moulding for left driver-side dashboard.

Removing ignition switch












1. Screw on union nut -1- using the special tool key 9800 ( -arrow A- ) and unscrew from ignition switch.
2. Press ignition switch inwards -arrow C- and remove downwards.







3. Release electric connector -a- and pull it off the ignition switch.

Installing ignition switch







1. Connect plug on ignition switch until it clicks into place.







2. Position ignition switch in the dashboard from below -arrow D-. Position union nut -1- and slide over the ignition switch. Pay attention to the fitted shape. Use the special tool key 9800 to tighten the union nut -1-. -> Tightening torque: 1.6 Nm (1 ftlb.)

Subsequent work

1. Install moulding for left driver-side dashboard.
2. Install steering column trim.
