Symptom

The following possible errors can occur together:

Text message in instrument cluster:
- Ignition lock faulty
- PSM fault
- System fault
- Reduced engine power
- Start/Stop deactivated
- Transmission fault

and/or warning light in instrument cluster:
- Check Engine
- ABS fault
- Brake
- Hold function

Cause, date of introduction and remedial action

Cause
A blade contact in the terminal 15 relay socket in the power distributor (main fuse box) may be damaged as a result of incorrect assembly.

Power distributors that were checked and found to be OK are installed in vehicles as of the following vehicle identification numbers:

Replace lower part of power distributor
