Preliminary work

Remove main headlight -> 941519 Removing and installing main headlight - section on "Removing"

Removing control unit for direction indicator light





Installation position

1. Unscrew fastening screw -1-.





Unscrewing fastening screw and releasing connector

2. Release electric connector -a- and pull it off the control unit.
3. Disengage control unit for direction indicator light on the body.

Installing control unit for direction indicator light

1. Engage control unit for direction indicator light on the body.





Connecting connector to the control unit and screwing in fastening screw

2. Push electric connector onto the control unit -a- until it is felt to engage.
3. Screw in fastening screw -1-. => Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)

Subsequent work

Subsequent work for control unit for direction indicator light

Install main headlight. -> 941519 Removing and installing main headlight - section on "Installing"

Switch on ignition, turn on the indicator and check that the direction indicator light is working.
