Preliminary work

DANGER

Vehicle can fall down

- Risk of squashing or crushing
- Risk of damage to the vehicle

-> Do not place any solid objects under the raised vehicle.
-> Ensure that the lifting platform is prevented from lowering.
-> Remove solid objects before lowering the vehicle.
-> Raise the vehicle only at the take-up points provided.
-> The outer take-up points should be used primarily.

1. Raise the vehicle.
=> 4X00IN01 Lifting the vehicle
2. Place protective covers on the vehicle to avoid damaging the vehicle.

Removing pulse sender (speed sender)

1. Release and pull off cable plug.

1.1. Unclip and disconnect the cable plug -1- at the holder.
2. Remove pulse sender.
2.1. Unscrew internal Torx screw (M6 x 16) -2-.

2.2. Remove the pulse sender.

Installing pulse sender (speed sender)

1. Install the pulse sender.

1.1. Replace O-ring.
Grease new O-ring with Kluber Syntheso Glep (Porsche Part No. 000.043.204.68) and fit it.
1.2. Fit the pulse sender.
1.3. Fit and tighten internal Torx screw (M6 x 16) -2-.
=> Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)
2. Plug in cable plug -1- can clip it onto the holder.

Subsequent work

1. Remove protective covers from the vehicle.
