Removing rear lid seal

1. Pull rear lid seal -1- off the sheetmetal flange.





Removing rear lid seal

2. Remove all the old sealant from the sheetmetal flange.

Installing rear lid seal

1. Place rear lid seal -1- in installation position.





Installing rear lid seal

1.1. The gap in the seal -2- must be centred at the top.
1.2. Make sure that the vent holes in the seal are on the outside.
2. Press rear lid seal -1- onto the sheetmetal flange.
3. Check that the seal is seated securely and that the surface is flush, especially in the narrow rounded areas.
