Preliminary work

1. Remove front right wheel housing liner. -> 505619 Removing and installing front wheel housing liner - section on "Removing" Service and Repair

Removing fluid level sensor

Information

Collect windscreen washer system fluid in a suitable container.





Installation position of fluid level sensor

1. Release and pull off water line for headlight cleaning system. -> 927819 Removing and installing pump for headlight cleaning system - section on "Removing" Service and Repair
2. Release and pull off electric plug connection for sensor -1-.

3. Pull the sensor out of the rubber sleeve by turning it back and forward slightly.

Installing fluid level sensor

Information

Check rubber sleeves and clips and replace them if necessary.

The fluid level sensor is installed in reverse order to removal.
