Information

- The temperature of the air from the "centre" dashboard vents must lie within the prescribed tolerance range within 8 minutes, depending on the ambient temperature (see diagram).

General test prerequisites
- Close doors, windows and sliding roof
- Insert temperature probe into centre vent
- Measure ambient temperature
- Open all dashboard vents
- Switch on ignition
- Press recirculating-air button
- Set temperature control to maximum cooling
- Switch fresh-air blower to "max"
- Start engine
- Operate air conditioning while idling
- Set engine speed to 2000 rpm (start of time measurement)

If the prescribed nominal values are not reached, the air conditioning must be checked for leaks and repaired.
