Injector Test

With Engine Off

Note: The following test is to be performed on Alliance and Encore models only.

1. Disconnect injector wire connectors.
2. Remove injector ramp assembly and injectors.
3. Position assembly so that each injector can feed into a suitable graduated container.
4. Connect terminals D1-5 and D1-6, Fig. 3, with a jumper wire to activate fuel pump. There should be no output from injectors.
5. Apply input voltage of 12 volts and ground to each injector. Fuel should now atomize in containers.

With Engine Running

The following test can be performed on all models.

Disconnect each injector wire connector in turn. A loss of engine speed should be noticed.
