Air Intake System Leak Test

1. On Alliance and Encore models, disconnect front vacuum hose from air intake chamber. On Fuego and Sportwagon models, disconnect hose from cylinder head cover.
2. On all models apply soapy water to all points subject to leakage, then plug pipe.
3. Apply a maximum of 15 psi of compressed air to intake system through disconnected hose.
4. Open throttle plate, then observe intake system for any signs of bubbles or foam indicating air leaks.
5. If any points are leaking, repair as necessary
