Throttle Full Close Switch: Adjustments

Refer to ``Inline 4 Cylinder Engine Tune Up'' for ignition timing, idle speed and idle air/fuel mixture adjustments.

FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR
1. Connect a pressure gauge into the fuel line between the pressure regulator and the injector fuel line using a T-fitting.
2. Start the engine and allow to idle.
3. Adjust the fuel pressure by turning the locknut on the fuel pressure regulator. Adjust so that the fuel pressure is 36 psi (2.5 bars).

THROTTLE POSITION SWITCH
1. Loosen throttle position switch attaching screws.
2. With throttle plate resting against idle stop, slowly rotate throttle position switch in direction of throttle plate opening until inner stop can be felt and a click noise from the micro-switch can be heard.
3. Tighten throttle position switch attaching screws.
