Wiper Switch: Service and Repair

Fig. 4 Separating turn signal & wiper switch from light switch.:

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove steering wheel and steering column housing halves.
3. Remove attaching bolt and screws.
4. Disconnect junction blocks.
5. Remove assembly by pulling upward.
6. Remove light switch from assembly by using round rod .15 in. in diameter and piece of tubing .315 in. in diameter to push out connecting pin, Fig. 4.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
