Pressure Switch Testing

1.
Start engine and allow to idle.
2.
Disconnect hose to pressure switch at inlet manifold and connect test gauge 8392813, together with a suitable pump (coolant system pressure tester), to pressure switch hose,

Increase pressure to switch using pump and note pressure at which engine cuts out.
4.
If cut out pressure is not 13.0-14.4 psi, replace switch.
