Saab is pleased to announce a new addition to the Parts Exchange Program. Front Brake Calipers for all 900's, as well as some 9000 and 99 applications are now available. These calipers mark another step in Saab's efforts to reduce service costs, while continuing to provide your customers with high quality replacement parts.
Pricing for the calipers is as follows:
$79.00 Dealer Net, $105.00 Suggested List (core charge $75.00)
This pricing represents a cost savings of nearly 504 to the dealer and a 56% cost savings to the customer, just for the parts alone. Another important benefit of this caliper exchange program to be considered is the substantial labor time savings that result. Labor time for installing an exchange caliper would be about half the time required to remove and overhaul an existing caliper. The cost of a rebuilding kit must also be included in the calculations for an overhaul.
The front brake caliper exchange program means savings; savings to your dealership and to your customers. And quality is not sacrificed for these savings. Saab's exchange calipers meet the same exacting standards as new calipers.
Appended to this letter are inserts for your Parts Manual that provide part number information and exchange caliper ordering/return procedures.
