CV-Joint Boot Clamps

Application: All 900 and 9000 Models


New clamps for securing the rubber boots to the constant-velocity (CV) joints and axles have been introduced as spare parts. Special pliers, Knipex 1099, are being made available to assist with the proper installation of these clamps. For instructions on their use, see PSI 01/92-0175, Sec. 4, Page 5.





NOTE

The new clamp pilers, P/N 89 96 621, have been designated as a required special tool and will be automatically shipped to your dealership during the month of January 1992.
