During 1982 model production the rear door window regulator was changed to a new type. The window attaching hardware was adapted to the new regulator and the positioning dimension on the glass was changed.
As of VIN Serial No. C1018080 and C2006744 the dimension shown in the following illustration applies:
The dimension shown in your service manual applies to all chassis up to and including the above VIN Serial Nos. Please note in your 900 Service Manual, Section 8, p. 843-9 to refer to this S.I. as from mid-M82.
