The wiper assembly is an integral unit mounted on the bulkhead in the engine compartment. Two rectangular openings in the bulkhead accommodate the wiper spindles.
These openings are sealed with rubber grommets. Power from the motor is transferred to the spindles by means of a cable and linkage. The wiper arms are fitted in splines and retained by means of a nut, Fig. 5.
1. Lift wiper arm away from windshield, lift cover and remove nut and wiper arm.
2. Remove rubber grommet.
3. Remove wiper motor bolts and motor assembly.
4. Reverse procedure to install.
