Brakes and Traction Control: Testing and Inspection

Perform the following quick checks:

1. Check brake fluid level, noting the following:
a. Ensure accumulator is fully charged with fluid.
b. Turn ignition switch to On position and check fluid level after hydraulic pump cuts out.
c. Fill as necessary with DOT 4 brake fluid to bring level to MAX mark on side of reservoir.
2. Inspect all fuses in fuse panel adjacent to ABS system ECU.
3. Ensure relays for ECU and pump motor have been properly installed.
4. Check all electrical connectors and ensure sensor lead connectors are making good contact.
5. Check all ground points.
