Installation





1. Place the receiver dryer (desiccant container) in position and tighten screws.
2. Fit new 0-rings to the desiccant container connections. Lubricate 0-rings with synthetic vaseline, part number (16) 30 15 286.
3. Do up the pipe from the evaporator using a holding tool.
- Tightening torque: 21.5 Nm (15.9 ft lb).
4. Do up the hose from the condenser using a holding tool.
- Tightening torque: 21.5 Nm (15.9 ft lb).
5. Plug in connector to pressure switch.
6. Place the compressor in position and do up the three retaining screws. Note that the bracket for the electrical connection is secured by the upper left-hand screw.
7. Connect electrical wire to compressor.





8. Remove the protector from the oil cooler.
9. Remove the clamp from the multi V belt.
10. Refit the steering servo container.
11. Fill with refrigerant. For more information refer to "Draining and Filling of Refrigerant-R134a or R12". Service and Repair
