Ignition Coil: Service and Repair
Ignition coil
To remove
On M91 and earlier models the ignition coils can be changed.
1 Switch off the ignition.
2 Undo the ignition discharge module's four retaining bolts. Pull up the module and turn it upside down.
3 Remove the six ignition cover retaining bolts.
4 Remove the cover.
5 Remove the ignition coil
To fit
Fit in reverse order.
Ignition discharge module tightening torque 11 Nm (8 lbf ft)
