"Follow Me Home" Feature






The Integrated Central Electronics (ICE) module is programmed to leave the dipped headlamps switched on for 30 seconds after the ignition key has been removed and the driver's door has been closed.

This "follow-me-home" feature is activated when ICE module pin 44 receives a "driver's door open" signal and pin 30 then receives a "dipswitch activated" signal.

If the driver's door is closed within 30 seconds, the ICE module grounds the lights relay for 30 seconds. The dipped headlamps then remain on for this period of time.
