Alternator Brush: Service and Repair

Undo the three bolts to remove the
alternator's protective cover. Life off the cover.

Undo the two screws to remove the
voltage regulator.
Lift out the
voltage regulator. It is clipped in place.
The
alternator brushes are fitted in the
voltage regulator and it is necessary to replace the entire unit.
Install in reverse order.
