Control Module Power Supply

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION, CONTROL MODULE POWER SUPPLY






+30 voltage is supplied via fuse 23 to pins 1 and 48 of the control module. The control module uses the +30 supply for its memory. The engine will not start without a +30 supply.


+15 voltage is supplied via fuse 13 to pin 60 of the control module. Applying the +15 supply to pin 60 activates the control module, causes the main and fuel pump relays to operate, and activates the injectors for pre-injection dependent on engine temperature. The engine will not start without a +15 supply.
