Ground Point G7

Grounding Points G7 And G29:

Grounding point G7 on the B202 engine consists of two grounding points located at the rear of the engine (intake side) on a sheet metal bracket below the intake manifold.
On the B234 engine there are two corresponding grounding points on the intake manifold. In addition, all cars with DI, DI/APC have a third grounding point on the thermostat housing.
The following components are connected to the grounding points:


346 Ignition discharge module, DI/APC
376 ETS control module (via a 10-pin connector)
414 ASR control module (via a 24-pin connector)
430 Saab TRIONIC control module
444 Saab TRIONIC data link connector (for production only)
