Braking Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair
The control module receives voltage from the
brake light switch to pin 23 if the brake is activated. For example, the brake light switch is used if the surface is very slippery and the driver decides to pump-brake.
Every time the driver depresses the brake pedal, (when power is fed to the ECU from the
brake light switch), ABS control restarts from its starting position.
