WARNING - DANGER OF FIREAlthough system voltage is only 12 V, the very high capacity and energy content of the battery could cause severe skin burns or a fire in the car. A short circuit could result in extremely high current intensities.
WARNING - HIGH VOLTAGE
The electronic ignition system generates voltages in excess of 48,000 volts.
Such voltages could be fatal to people with a weak heart or to anyone with a pacemaker, so treat the ignition system with great respect.
Before starting work on the electrical system:
- take off your wristwatch and any rings you may be wearing
- disconnect one of the battery terminals before removing any electrical components
- always follow the instructions and recommendations.
