C. Interference: Overview

Interference may be caused by different systems in different cars. To determine which system or systems are the cause of the interference, the tests must be conducted outdoors so that they will not be affected by electrical equipment. etc. in the garage.

Interference may be of three kinds:

^ Background tones, see point C2.

^ Ignition system interference, see point C3.
