Transmission Temperature Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair

Removal
1. Unplug the temperature sensor's cable.
2. Remove the two screws securing the cover plate.

NOTE: Fluid will run out of the transmission.

3. Unscrew the fluid temperature sensor.

Installing
1. Screw the fluid temperature sensor in place.
Tightening torque: 25 Nm (18.5 ft lbs).
2. Refit the cover plate and tighten the screws.
Tightening torque: 25 Nm (18.5 ft lbs).
3. Plug in the fluid temperature sensor's cable.

IMPORTANT: Check the level of the fluid after refitting the temperature sensor.
