When replacing the Convertible top ECM the following part numbers may be marked on the outside of the ECM when ordered as exchange part number 46 10 812:

^ 45 58 144

^ 46 95 961

^ 46 10 812

All of the above part numbers are acceptable: i.e., these have been updated.

Always refer to the part number label on the outside of the ECM. The part number that can be read out by ISAT is not changed when the unit is updated and may cause confusion.

The function of the windows can also be used to check the program level of the ECM:

^ If the windows can be raised while you are raising the top, then you have the old program (P/N 43 07 450).

^ If you cannot raise the windows while you are raising the top, then you have the new program (P/N 46 10 812).

Old inventory of P/N 43 07 450 should be returned to Warranty Parts Testing to be updated in the exchange bank.
