Trunk/Liftgate Sensor/Switch (For Alarm): Service and Repair

The microswitch for the tailgate is located behind the right-hand cover for the rear fog light/reversing light. Remove the microswitch from the clip.

Detach the green connector from the bracket by sliding it to one side.
Unplug the connector from the microswitch.

Install in reverse order.
