Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch (For Computer): Service and Repair
To Remove 1.
Unscrew the expansion tank filler cap to release the pressure in the cooling system. Screw the cap back on again.
2.
Remove the resonating chamber.
3.
Unplug the connector and remove the sensor.
To InstallInstall in reverse order.
Tightening torque:
13 Nm (9.5 ft lbs)WARNING: Coolant escaping under pressure can cause serious injury.
