Knock Sensor: Service and Repair
To Remove 1.
Remove the resonating chamber.
2.
Remove the dipstick tube.
3.
Raise the car and unplug the
knock sensor's connector.
4.
Remove the
knock sensor.
To InstallIMPORTANT: Before fitting, the
knock sensor's contact surface in the engine block should be meticulously cleaned.
Tightening torque 22 Nm (16 ft lbs)
In other respects install in reverse order.
